Changes and Updates

Welcome to “Tech for ESOL Teachers”. My name is Chris Spackman, and I am an ESL teacher at The Charles School at Ohio Dominican University, in Columbus, Ohio. I am also a bit of a geek. This blog is my attempt to share a combination of my tech knowledge and my classroom experience with other teachers.

First Post!

Well, I finally gave in and started a blog. I figure there is no reason not to make use of all the features that WordPress and other blogging software provide. WordPress will make maintaining the articles section of much easier since most of the articles will now be blog entries rather than stand-alone HTML pages. Which frees me to add content and respond to comments from readers rather than spend time writing code.

I will soon convert my original KDE to WinXP article into a blog article and add the next two installments. Then I will add a bunch of links to various interesting pages.

In addition to tech stuff, I will occasionally blog on life in Japan, English education in Japan, and the such.
