At startup, when you click the show all button, unvisited desktops do not show any wallpaper. They are just gray. ogg related: some linux distros may not play mp3s out of the box, but it is also true that MS WiMP does not play ogg out of the box. Both require the user to install additional codecs. According to this page (http://windowsxp.mvps.org/ogg.htm) however, making windows recognize the .ogg extension and associating it with WiMP, requires you to hack the registry. You don't need to do anything even remotely that difficult to get iTunes to recognize ogg files, but for some reason WiMP requires it. Very strange. Needless to say that in Linux, if you install the mp3 codecs, you are good to go and can now listen to mp3s with no further effort.
